Introduction

Box Butte County is updating its Comprehensive Plan, which is a policy document representing the community's view of its future and serves as a blueprint for growth and development. Your answers to the surveys below will help the county develop the policies and actions included in the Comprehensive Plan. The surveys will ask about:

• Your vision for the future of the county
• Energy
• Economic development
• Community facilities
• Environment
• Land use
• Transportation
• Technology
• Demographics

Instructions

• The survey should take 20-30 minutes depending on the amount of detail you choose to provide.
• You may change the language by clicking on the button in the lower right corner of the website. 
• Your responses are anonymous, but at a minimum you must enter a zip code.
• It is alright to only answer the questions that are of interest to you.
• There is no word limit on the comments you can provide in the comment boxes. 
• The survey will not time out but your answers will not be saved if you navigate away from the survey. We suggest typing and saving your longer answers in a seperate document and copying and pasting them into the survey.
• Don't forget to click submit at the bottom of the survey or your answers will not be saved.
• Your responses will be shared with the Planning Commission and County Board.
